those who don’t have me on twitter… the past week I have been suffering from intermittent coughing that I originally thought was due to reflux… but now that medium-grade fevers (which completely knock me out) are accompanying the coughs, it seems to be some nondescript virus/infection instead.
Seriously, it’s (as yet) a minor thing but I guess I need Dr House to tell me what it is because it’s not the flu or a cold or pneumonia or whooping cough and basically what the hell else is there… I’m seeing a doctor again tomorrow but this seems to be one of those things where I just have to let it run its course, or die.
So yeah, more delays to You Suck and whatnot. Like I wasn’t slow enough getting things done already. Fuck.
y’know I realize it’s not a good sign when I make a post about downloading an addictive videogame, and then my Tumblr doesn’t update for a few days.
So here’s a pointless autobio comic
Earliest memory comix, for a challenge by MarloMeekins
I don’t really have a specific earliest memory but I do remember begging my parents for a “video game” a lot in 1981. I meant a video game system like the 2600, but I just called every videogame related thing a “video game”
I also recall seeing my parents write out a check for, like, over a hundred dollars, and I was all excited and said “with that kind of money, we could buy a video game!”
And then I got a video game for my fifth birthday… a 2600 with around 20 cartridges! My parents were pretty cool. I actually got too excited for presents and snuck downstairs and opened my gift too early. But in my defense, I think I was too young to understand the concept of birthday parties.
Then I spent the rest of my entire life playing video games…
